Been Busy-Got the Bug to Stamp

After looking at my sister Sandi's blog I really got the bug to stamp.  So that night I cased her note card purse and stayed up all night making it.  This is what I came up with.

021412 Note Card Purse

Is it not just the cutiest thing?  She got the idea from someone else but they did not have the directions so she made up her own and figured it all out.  She is so good at that and then put them down on her blog and made it so easy to follow.  I cannot wait to show my girls in class this one.  Here are some more close up pictures.

Here is where you can find Sandi's directions on her blog:  http://anotherchancetostamp.blogspot.com/

Then I have been a little late in getting my grandsons birthday card to him this year so I came up with this late birthday card for him.  I do not have too many late birthday cards so I guess I was due for some just in case some of my customers needed some.  Do you think I can use that as an excuse?

021512 Late Birthday Card

This is my first time using the textured impression stripes and testured designer frames on a card so I learned something new.  And I really needed some more manly cards so I am sure this one will go over big.  I also kept it simple, simple, simple, Sandi, RIGHT!

  1. Oooh, my colors!! Love your take/design for the purse and cards. I see you used the tissue paper for the flower -- very nice. I like the bird and butterfly note cards the best -- maybe I will get that bird stamp as I keep forgetting it goes with our punch. Very pretty birthday card too -- like the simplicity very much, nice for card class.
