Fancy Treat Boxes-Christmas

Snowman and Elf Fancy Favor Treat Box
Well I finally got two of the four complete of this set.  Are they not sweet?  Sorry about being so slow lately in posting but have been kine of lazy and just laying around recovering. Went to the doctors yesterday and lost all the water weight plus seven pounds more so am on top of the world right now.

But to get back to my projects these are cases from several places but mostly from Sandy Haines, I think that is how you spell her last name. I changed the hat on the snowman and the ears and collor on the elf.  They are not real big but it is a good size goodie box and would look great with either candy canes or candy inside. Hope you enjoy making these as much as I did let me know your comments, thanks.

  1. Well, I'm glad that I decided to check out your blog (or actually mine) to see that you finally put this out so I can see how they looked. I just love these -- you did a great job casing Sandy's. I read it but don't see where you put down what punch you used for the ears -- you will have to tell me tomorrow (been working on swaps all day). And, why does Mr. Snowman look so sad????? Let's curl those brads up or make some happy lines (or maybe he is sad because its not cold enough for him???). I like his top hat!!

  2. Mr. Snowman is Not SAD, he is thinking! He just has NO LIPS, Sandi. Sandi you need to reread my directions on the elf again, look under PUNCHES, ears...does that help? You had to say that cold word I just looked out the window and seen SNOW on my car!!!!!!!! Now I am sad but my lips cover my frown. Love ya sis.

  3. WOHOO--way to go Kathleen. You finally got to make these. You did a super job. Okay, I will settle the conflict! Mr. Snowman is unhappy because he heard you were going to use his snow for ICE CREAM! Gotta feel sorry for him, but instead of doing ice cream (which wouldn't make enough for us three) you should put a sign on that says "Handmade by Kathleen" LOL P.S. I thought the Elf's ears were done freehand (I didn't read the recipe!)
