I was busy this weekend getting caught up on some back orders. I had made this card for my granddaughter this past June then a friend of mine needed a 13th birthday card for her granddaughter so of course I thought of this. I made up another twelve so I would have some on hand. The left picture is of the front of the card and the right is of the inside of the card. It was a little time consuming to make but sometimes I feel that you need a little extra special card for that special person.
Here are the supplies: cardstock: whisper white, perfect plum, pale plum, lavender lace, assorted print sheets for the purse details. Ink: basic black, and perfect plum. Stamps: It's Your Birthday, and Yummy. Punches: Scallop Oval, Key tag, Large Oval, Designer label, scallop circle, 1" & 3/4" sq. punch, 1" & 3/4" round punch, hand held small heart punch, Full Heart Punch. Accessories: ice sq. rinestone brads, (versa mark, clear embossing powder, heating gun-for the patten leather look to the top note purse on the front), Circle Scallop #2 die, Top Note die, piercing tool. ribbon, dimentionals, 2-way glue, black ink pen, silver brads, silver hodgepodge.
I also have been busy for the last week with a bake sale here at my apartment building so had some time off from stamping. We did super at the sale. I made six different kinds of breads, three different cakes and some muffins. We ran it for two days. I was in charge and beat when it was over. Now I seem to have this kink in my back that I cannot get rid of so have to limit my time at the stamping table and take breaks. Have a full week coming up with two doctor appointment hopefull one of them will be able to tell me what to do about my back.
I was there when she opened this and she totally loved it - and her other goodies Grandma made. Hope you start feeling better Kathleen.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your back, hope you get some relief soon. Wow, you sure did a lot of baking. Was this profit for you or was it used for other purpose? Loved this card before and still do. Take care and slow down a little....
