Game Time-Tic Tac Toe-Small Metal Tins

Anyone for an old fashion game of tic tac toe?

This is what I have been working on this week getting ready for the upcoming craft day in November.  I seen these online a while ago and have been wanting to do them. Here are some pictures.

This is the dino one from the top picture bottom center in both pictures only this shot it is opened to see the player pieces and the play board.  The pieces have magnets on the back of them so they stick to the tin.

More open tins.
The far left opened one can be found closed on the first picture top row last one on right.  The middle pink one can be found on the first picture top row in the center for the front of the tin.  And the blue tin is on the first picture on the top row on the left first one.

The metal tins are on sale for 99cents right now so if you are thinking of doing these it is a good time to order.  They were fun and fast to make.  Used various supplies so will not list but if you need help just e-mail me and I will be glad to help If I can with directions.

P.S. In case any of you notice I have more than enough player pieces per person.  I did this on purpose! Partly so in case they lose one.  But I think mainly because it looked neater in the tin, that's me !!!!!!

  1. Hey, I am first!! Ididn't know that the tins where still 99cents? I really like these and they would be nice for grandchildren to play with in car on long trip. I will certainly case this and show you mine. (after I order some tins)

  3. Wow Kathy, these are really pretty. I have to tell you however, when I first looked at them the colors looked a little dull. But as I was sitting here I took my glasses off and cleaned them and couldn't believe the difference -- I kid you not!! They are bright and bold now. Which one(s) do I think I would pick: for sure the one with the Game Pieces DSP on top (love it) and I love the dinosour and Dove ones also. Great job!
